Dermatology Liaison Nurse Service (NHS Western Isles)
The aim of the Dermatology Liaison Nursing Service is to provide high quality dermatology care to its patients within a supportive and safe environment.
Regular clinics are held in the Outpatient Department at Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway where the Service offers, in addition to a Dermatology Liaison Nurse, a visiting Consultant attends clinics either face-to-face or remotely.
Assistance to the clinics is also provided by GPs who have undertaken specialist dermatology training.
The Dermatology Liaison Nurse Service offers a range of treatments and you may also be referred for further investigations.
